Adelaide Seminar
Each year the Head of Seishikan holds a seminar in Adelaide which incorporates a two day seminar in basic karate training and kata. Grading for Australian Seishikan also occurs.

2024 Grading in Japan
Last year, three students from Adelaide Seishikan Karate club went to train in the birthplace of our style of karate, Okinawa, Japan. John Shihan, Peter Shihan, and Nick, were all successful in passing their black belt grading for 7th, 6th, and 1st Dan respectively.

JKF Goju Kai Australia Seminar & Tournament
Every year the Japanese Karate Federation hold a seminar in Australia incorporating JKF grading and national tournaments for kata and kumite.
The JKF Goju Kai Australia Seminar & Tournament is usually a three day event which is held in a different state of Australia every year. The first day and half the second day is a seminar, the second half of the second day is the grading and the final day is a kata and kumite tournament.
The event is run by the heads of Goju Kai in Japan and Australia.

2019 JKF Seminar
The 2019 JKF Seminar was held at Carrara Indoor Stadium, Nerang-Broadbeach Rd, Gold Coast on the 5th and 6th of April.
